It finished a draw up in Raithin this morning in physical hard fought game. Mullingar Celtic will feel like it’s 2 points lost rather than a point gained after a fairly dominant performance.
The first half was a tight affair with both sides playing good football and having chances. But we really kicked into gear in the second half and had a host of chances to take the lead. Credit to Banagher who went down to 10 men near the end of the 2nd half and defended excellently.
Our Clarkes Bar, Mullingar man of the match was Colm Baker who put in a proper captains performance and played some great football from the back.
