We started off the league season with a great away win against last year’s Division 3 champions.
Ben Walsh started off the scoring early on and not long after St. Aengus equalised through a corner. But to our credit the lads didn’t drop the head and powered on and retook the lead through a Daire Hynes header.
We extended our lead not long after when Ryan Dempsey slotted home. Then Colm Baker added the cherry to the top of the cake with another header.
Our Clarkes Bar man of the match was Daire Hynes.
