Mullingar Celtic put in a brilliant performance and probably deserved more from the game. Temple Villas goal was a penalty in the late stages of the first half. We controlled the game but just couldn’t break down a excellent Temple Villa team.
Congratulations to Temple Villa, to win a league title is a brilliant achievement but to do it unbeaten is better again. Well done lads and enjoy your night.
Also from everyone on the committee thank you to Andy Norris and Richie Healy for all the hard work and dedication throughout the year, the work the lads put in is massive and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Another big thank you to Cathrine McEntee for giving us the use of the pitch and to Sammy for keeping the pitch in great condition all year!
