Honours were even this morning in Durrow after a great game. This was our first preseason game of the season and all our lads put in a great shift.
Dylan Cannon opened the scoring in the 40th minute with an excellent half volley from 40 yards out. An early contender for goal of the season.
Coolraine equalised not long after with a good goal of their own. To our credit we kept plugging away and playing good football and got our reward when Stephen Nally hit an excellent strike from outside the box to put us into the lead again.
Coolraine never looked out of it and equalised again to leave the game at 2-2 which was probably a fair result.
Our Clarkes Bar man of the match was Mark Hickey who worked his socks off as always. Special mention for Darren Aughey who played very well on his debut.
