Brilliant performance today by the men from Mullingar. The first goal came 6 minutes in thanks to some brilliant work from Fola Ayorinde who hunted down the centre backs, won the ball and slotted home nicely.
The second goal came on the 32nd minute when Fola Ayorinde turned from scorer to provider and slipped Keith Hope in who found the bottom corner. The roles reversed then 5 minutes later when Keith Hope squared for Fola Ayorinde who slammed home again.
The next goal came thanks to some great work by Cian Farrell who squared for Fola Ayorinde again who was on fire.
To Rosenallis credit they plugged away and scored 2 goals themselves but the game was put beyond a doubt when Fola Ayorinde crossed in for Keith Hope who headed home.
David Jessop added the sixth when he followed in a Fola Ayorinde shot which the keeper parried into Jessops path and Jessop finished well.
Fola scored his fourth and the pick of the bunch when Jessop lobbed a ball back in and Fola Ayorinde flicked the ball over the keeper, it was a great finish.
The eighth goal and Fola Ayorindes fifth came when he latched onto a flick by Jamie Tarleton and rounded the keeper.
There were no bad performance today, everyone put in a great shift but there’s no doubt Fola Ayorinde was the Clarkes Bar man of the match. He scored 5 goals and had 3 assists, he was unplayable today.
